There was also initially a lack of content present, which was needed to sustain the otherwise fun multiplayer. In future updates, DICE disabled the microtransaction system and replaced it with a linear unlock progression that rewarded players as they leveled up the different classes in the game. This deterred many from buying the game and was the focus of many low score reviews.
